Tabernacle Baptist Academy

We Are Baptist! Tabernacle Baptist Academy’s goal is to provide students with a personal knowledge of God, to teach Christian principles, to help develop the student’s Christian character values and morals, and give the student an excellent education.

TBA uses A Beka curriculum in all grades. This curriculum has been in existence for more than 50 years and has been proven to be one of the best in the nation. Grades K-12 use a DVD teaching program conducted by the master teachers at Pensacola Christian Academy in Pensacola, Florida. There is also a qualified classroom teacher to reinforce and instruct each student in all academic subjects. The curriculum is more challenging than most public school curriculums. Each subject follows a carefully planned sequence with a Christian emphasis in all grades. Additional teaching materials may be used to supplement the A Beka curriculum.

Our K5 students are taught the basic phonetic sounds, reading, writing in cursive, numbers, basic addition, Bible skills, social studies, health and songs. The curriculum has an intensive phonics program, which will assist in strengthening the students reading skills. At the end of the school year, the kindergarten class has a graduation ceremony (a must see event).

Tabernacle Baptist Academy uses ONLY the King James Version of the Bible. Each day, lessons from God’s word will be taught to the students. Students learn to memorize and quote scripture and will also learn to sing hymns and other Christian songs. TBA’s primary goal is to make the Word of God meaningful to the lives of the students. The end result of the goal will be for the students to apply the teachings and principles of the scripture to their lives.

Tabernacle Baptist Academy was established in 2001 with a total enrollment of 12. Since then the Lord has blessed and given increase. We pray and seek God's help in selecting our student body.
